Why are the Woman and the Nashville albums in Mono???? I have both on vinyl in beautiful Stereo, especially the Nashville Album. The Hot Cold & Custard is very well done in wonderful Stereo, the only way it was issued.... but there is no excuse for the Mono release of the other two...when Stereo masters Exist. If you want to get Hot Cold & custard , this set is essential....but hopefully someone will issue the other two in Stereo someday!

HASH(0xa5b3484c) out of 5 stars the last of the P&G albums April 27 2012

Its nice to finally have the last 2 albums of Peter & Gordon that were awaiting CD release, I say 2 because Woman has already been released by Collectables a few years ago. These are newly digitally remastered, so I'm assuming that Woman is a different remaster than what is on the Collectables CD, but I have not done a A/B test to check. Mainly this was a purchase for Hot Cold & Custard, the Nasvhille hits album is OK. But its nice to finally have a complete P&G album collection, albeit they are the US Stereo albums, they will have to do. Thus release is targeted at collectors that most likely already have the other albums and fans will know what to expect here, some excellent material and some so-so, but even the so-so stuff is elevated by the duo's smooth vocals. My only gripe with this release and the other BGO triple release(Godiva/Knights/Tea) is that I wish the album covers were larger or full page pictures in the booklet, but oh well.

I keep hoping that someone will release the UK albums in mono that are more affordable than the Japanese mini lps or the out of print UK digipaks..looking at you Repertiore or Sundazed. ...

This is a really good album but I didn't rate it a 5 because I like Peter and Gordon singing Rock rather than country.

Completes my collection nicely. I now have all of P & G's US output on digital disc. The insert also provided some interesting history that I wasn't previously aware of.
