4.0 out of 5 stars One for the fans. April 28 2005
By D Brown - Published on Amazon.com
I agree with the first reviewer that the picture and sound quality is not great, certainly when compared to official releases from the " Moon River Theatre " and it is probably only when you receive the DVD that you realise it is not endorsed by MRT. Having said that, it has grown on me and includes some very good choreography from the TV shows, a song by the Williams Brothers and a very clever duet with Patti Page. Probably a DVD for loyal fans but worth the money. It does play on Region 2 DVD players (UK) so is probably multi-regional.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly surprised Dec 25 2005
By S. Flamm - Published on Amazon.com
I just purchased this DVD for my sister who is a die-hard fan. After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned whether she would like it or not. I sat down to watch it with her and I was surprised how entertaining it was. It wasn't really the layed back style that was so evident on the later shows. I had no idea Andy could move as well as he does in the dance numbers. The songs are a little edgier. My sister told me he hadn't found his style yet, and she had never seen most of what was on the DVD. It looks like an early sixties TV show

tape, and I wasn't bothered at all by the quality. I like Andy Williams, but I would never call him a favorite of mine, and yet, I enjoyed the whole tape.

3.0 out of 5 stars Worth the money? Well, it depends ... June 16 2005
By NoVine - Published on Amazon.com
The other reviewers are certainly right in that the video & audio quality is poor, to say the least. On the other hand, there are quite a couple of gems on this DVD. I'm pretty glad that somebody said heck, better resurrect that material in a bad condition than not at all. So if you're an unconditional Andy Williams fan like me, go get it. Otherwise, you'll be far better off with The Best From the Andy Williams Show.

3.0 out of 5 stars An OK Collection of his hits Jan. 30 2014

I have been a fan of Andy Williams since I was a child in the 50's. I really enjoy his style of music and the love songs are beautiful, however, this DVD was an attempt to bring some of his older hits to the limelight. I feel it fell short of its goal. The quality of the DVD was not as good as I thought it could have been.
