Excellent book... Such a good idea to fast-forward !! I highly recommend it to anybody who read the first books. This one has the same tone, it's like finding 20$ in your pockets when you didn't know it was there !!

As always, Ann Brashares delivers a fun, easy to read story about the sisterhood. It's been a few years of anticipation while waiting for Ann's closure to this series. Enjoy.

I am a huge fan of Ann Brashare's works. I have never been disappointed in anything she has ever written, no matter how much it may have made me angry or cry. When I found out that there was a fifth Sisterhood book, I immediately rushed out to buy it. I never buy hardcover books, as I prefer softcover - easier to hold on a beach or while lying in bed, but I caved this time, not being able to wait. This book, sadly, has been a huge disappointment of the highest degree.

It's ten years since the last Sisterhood story, and none of them really seems to have grown up. Lena is still terrified of everything, Carmen is innately self-absorbed, and Bee is still running from every potentially frightening - or happy - emotion that comes her way. Tibby - well, don't even get me started. It doesn't matter that in the last thirty or so pages of the book, Brashares attempts to wrap it all up in a neat little package. She has already done the unnecessary damage; hearts are broken (including my own), realities are skewed, and all that is left is severe annoyance that I must force myself to finish the book in order to hopefully find SOME sort of salvation at the end. It's there, but it's reaching, and not particularly realistic.

I don't think that I have ever been so disappointed in a book in my life. I sobbed my way through the entire novel, except for the end when I just kept saying, "Really? Seriously? What are you trying to do here?" I have cried through books before, but there was always a purpose in the book for all the tears. This was just...wrong.

I hemmed and hawed over whether or not to post a review, but in the end I decided that I must. I wish I had been warned before buying/reading the book.
