I bought this book originally when i was about 10 for 50 cents at an antique store. I am currently on my third copy. The first one was read sooooo much that the spine tore off of it and ducktape was required to hold it together. So it went into a box so i could preserve it. Then my basement was flooded and the book was lost. A couple years later I purchased my next copy off of ebay or amazon idk which. Again ducktape ended up being my best friend. No i am not overly rough on my books i'm as careful as i can be. But this one is soooo great that all i wanted to do was read it once a month or so. I havent read my third copy in about 6months But if you can imagine a book holding a childs interest for 18 years then this one would be it. Surely it will hold anyones interest for one good read. Dont forget it is a trilogy and the others are Just as great
