This inexpensive laminated map is great for outdoor use. Index is numbered from top to bottom, left to right in ascending numbers. It names 280 sites and locates 6 Apollo landing spots.

Bought the Sky & Telescope Laminated Moon map from Sky and Telescope. For the low cost its good enough for field work with my 20 inch Obsession telescope. I get lots of dew on everything so the map being laminated is a big plus. It has good enough detail. I have the Rukl 1st edition Moon Atlas ( Even better is the 2nd revised edition but INMO too expensive), a masterpiece 5 star but its expensive and non laminated , just for inside research and then comparison.The low cost Sky & Telescope Laminated Moon map is good for outdoor use. I'm sure there are much better ones for outdoor use at higher prices. For inside research and comparison the Rukl Moon Atlas is 5 star plus a good investment. |
