If I could give this album 10 stars I would. I truly cannot begin to explain how great this album is, from the beginning riff or "Gardenia" to the instrumental end to "Whitewater" The first time i heard this album it just hit me hard and I had to listen again. I didnt listen to any other album for probably 3 months after I bought this. I just knew I was experiencing something momentous. Its incredible that no talent bands like Linken Park, Nickelback and Creed make it big but the bands with real talent like Kyuss dont. Oh well, that's simple music for simple people

A set singularly lacking in imagination or originality coupled with mediocre production. Even the cover art, by the late Marc Rude, is below his usually high standards.

This album would have been a stoner classic if it weren't for the lame "hard rock" vocals. Honestly, that guy kills anything the cool riffs had going for them.
