About the Author
Stan Shadick teaches introductory and advanced astronomy courses at the University of Saskatchewan and supervises the university observatory. He is an active advocate for recreational stargazing and writes an astronomy column for various newspapers.

I love this calendar, I looked forward to this calendar every year. I purchased this calendar for the last 15 years. I'm really going to miss it after 2012 I wish Stan Shadick would keep publishing it, or have someone else continue it in 2013 and beyond.
