This review is from: Sleeping Beauty: 50th Anniversary Platinum Edition (Version française) [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)

PORTUGUESE SUBTITLES, Oct 7 2009
This review is from: Sleeping Beauty: 50th Anniversary Platinum Edition (Version française) [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
Even though is not mentioned anywhere in the box, this edition has portuguese subtitles. Don't know if the USA edition follows this pattern, but it would be very nice of Disney to display this info in the box.

The movie is great but Disney is charging Canadians for no BD-Live, July 3 2009
This review is from: Sleeping Beauty: 50th Anniversary Platinum Edition (Version française) [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
Some may like to know that while Disney is charging us full price for these new Blu-ray titles they are quietly neglecting to offer Canadians, and I presume the rest of the world, BD-Live content. They don't even have the decency to tell us this on the packaging. I've seen the American version with "BD-Live" emblazened on the back. There's little reason why Canadian customers should not have access to the BD-Live servers when their money is financing these servers just as much as their American customers. Proportionally speaking, Canadians would be paying for the demand they put on the system. In the current environment of a sequestered Disney world Canadians are partly supporting American's BD-Live access while getting nothing in return. Also, I'm hard pressed in thinking it's a rights issue when we're dealing with a product wholly owned by Disney Studios. I'm angry and I hope Disney is reading this - I'm returning my copy of this and the Pinocchio Blu-ray I bought at the same time. And I won't be buying a Disney product until this matter is sorted out.
