Another worthwhile album,

Another solid effort from Bruce. Many instrumentals. Lyrically and musically I prefer more nature based themes from Cockburn but these remain very nice additions to this side of his catalogue. I wasn't that taken with his last album 'Life's Short Call Now' but this one is highly superior. Also reccommended are the brilliant 'Salt Sun and Time', 'Sunwheel Dance', 'In the Falling Dark' and 'Night Vision'.

Feels like one of Bruce's old classics...,

I am really enjoying this album, and I'm playing it a lot. This is a classic Bruce Cockburn album which evokes references to some of his earliest albums. Solid acoustic guitar playing from Bruce and several instrumentals make this feel like some of Bruce's older classics. Nice backing and filling from Jenny Scheinman on violin compliments and augments BC's guitar. This album feels very up close and personal and I think it's Bruce's best album in years.

Another great collection from an epic musician and songwriter. You won't be disappointed. He always finds lyrics with a punch. Enjoyed the collaboration with Annabelle Chvostek, great harmonies!I found the cut "Each one Lost" very poignant!I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys Cockburn's intellect and guitar mastery.
