I would recommend this book for every woman. It is easy to understand and the eating plan works for me. Sometimes the protien powder is a bit difficult to get down but in all the meal ideas are basic and easy to follow. After you have completed the 42 days you will be able to create your own menus following the guidence given. It is not just the menus that I liked about this book but the knowledge of how and why we gain weight.

This book is ideal for me. I've had great success losing weight but even more important is that I now understand how the foods we eat (or don't eat) can affect our health, cause disease, or help our bodies to heal ourselves. It's so well explained, the science behind everything. Now I understand how the glycemic load of certain foods is related to the inflammation factor of foods, and what that does in and to the body. I'd also recommend that people use this website to find the rating for each food in terms of how high on the glycemic scale it is, and whether it's inflammatory, and how inflammatory it is: http://nutritiondata.self.com Just type in the food you're interested in, and it will come back with the rating and lots of other useful info. Using the book and the website together, I've lost 10 pounds in 6 weeks. And I don't have any cravings for high glycemic foods. I could hardly believe it. And I'm continuing to lose the weight I thought would never come off.

This book has tons of great information that is very valuable and makes sense. Just need to put it into practice. Using alot of Lorna's products and find them to be very helpful. Would recomment this book to anyone. As a matter of fact once I am finished with it, passing it on to two friends.
