5.0 out of 5 stars Fun & Entertaining Read April 29 2003
By RavenRing - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This is my favorite in the Chamber of Horrors series. It is about 6 teenagers who are trying out their new haunted house role-play game. Soon they figure out that it is more then just a game. Evil spirits from another dimension are trying to enter their world, using the game as a gate. Now Travis, Tansy and their friends are playing for their lives!

This book was a real page turner, and I finished it in one sitting. Bruce Coville is a great author, and this is another display of his brilliant writing. There are some predictable parts in the story, but there are also many great twists. I finished the book wishing for more. Why is it so short?!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Read!! Aug 29 2006
By Annie Courtney - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I first read this story when I was about 12 years old. I couldn't put it down and finished it in under an hour. Since then, I have purchased my own copy and have read it again and again, loving it every time. I am now 28 years old and am thinking about pulling it out to read again. It is a great fantasy book for any kid (or grown up) who ever wanted to have superpowers, cast spells in battle and generally speaking, save the world. It is not any sort of a literary achievement, but it is fun and will leave a smile on your face. I highly recommend it!
