This is an excellent book for North America. Very impressive - i found a bird that was not in other books. The detail for all birds is very well displayed. The disk for the bird sounds is excellent and what a wonderful tool to have. This is a must for all bird watchers.

This is an outstanding book either for the beginner seeking to identify birds for the first time or the long-time bird enthusiast. The pictures are very realistic and the best I have encountered. In addition there is a disc with birdsong to study. You won't be disappointed with it! I was told about this book by a volunteer in the bird section of the Royal BC Museum in Victoria. It was his recommendation that caused me to purchase and I certainly confirm his opinion!
