Product Description

William G. Tapply is one of the most widely praised contemporary crime novelists whose works are a deft mix of vivid characterization, taut plotting, and beautiful, polished prose. This omnibus brings together in paperback three of his finest works.

** The Snake Eater-Brady Coyne agrees to represent a Vietnam Vet arrest for possession of marijuana, which he uses to alleviate the pain of his Agent Orange Poisoning. But things turn deadly when the secrets of his clients past erupt into the present.

** The Seventh Enemy - A wilderness expert testifies in favor of an assault weapons ban, earning himself a place on the enemies list of a gun activist group, resulting in attempts on his life.

** Close to the Bone - After successfully defending a man accused of killing a woman while driving drunk, a lawyer friend of Brady's dies in an apparent fishing accident.

About the Author

William G. Tapply, a contributing editor of Field & Stream , is the author of numerous books on fishing and wildlife as well as eighteen crime novels, most featuring Brady Coyne. He lives in Pepperell, MA.

5.0 out of 5 stars This man can write, Oct 15 2000

Lorraine Milligan (Melbourne Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Snake Eater/Seventh Enemy/Close to the Bone: A Brady Coyne Omnibus (#13, 14, and 15) (Paperback)
I discovered William Tapply by accident and was delighted to find that he had written about sixteen novels. What a delight it was to catch up. Brady Coyne is a sole legal practitioner with a hand picked clientele. Fishing is his great love and solving murders comes a close second. I'm awaiting Scar Tissue with baited breath.

This review is from: Snake Eater/Seventh Enemy/Close to the Bone: A Brady Coyne Omnibus (#13, 14, and 15) (Paperback)
I love this collection of books. Each page, each chapter kept me wanting more. I have read a few of William Tapply's books. Unfortunately I cannot get them locally. I have to buy them on line. I appreciate each and every one of them. This book will be added to my keep pile. Did I mention that I have a crush on Brady Coyne?
