Responding to the need for an easy-to-use machine that could tackle heavier snowfall on large driveways and walkways, Snow Joe developed the Snow Joe Ultra SJ620, a larger electric snow thrower that delivers the power of a gas machine with the convenience of an electric unit. Driven by a 13.5 amp motor, the Snow Joe Ultra moves up to 650 pounds of snow per minute. Its durable, 4 blade rotor, constructed of heavy grade steel, cuts a full 18-inch wide and 10-inch deep with each pass, clearing 2150 square feet per hour. In addition to its hard-working plowing capacity, the Snow Joe Ultra features an adjustable discharge chute that rotates a complete 180 degrees to provide full control over the snow discharge direction. The chute deflector can also be adjusted to control the height of the snow stream. Easy-glide pivot wheels make the Snow Joe Ultra easy to turn and maneuver on each pass. The scraper blade at the base of the unit efficiently scrapes the snow clear to the pavement. The Snow Joe Ultra SJ620, is powered electrically, making it effortless to start and maintain. No gas, oil, or tune-ups are necessary. The unit is ETL-approved and carries a full two year warranty. For heavier snowfall on large driveways and walkways, the Snow Joe Ultra SJ620 is your smart solution this winter.

At approximately $160 it was a smart buy as were other reasons.
- Steel blades that gave assurance of strength to cut through deep snow.
- Light weight plastic (I was skeptical of others reviews of the plastic quality but I checked the floor model first).
- No maintenance required (cleaning the exterior aside).
- I already have an electric mower so I had the extension cable. I recomend you buy a 100 foot 12 gauge as my 50ft wasn't enough for movement with slack. I eventually joined 2x 50ft 14 gauge cables and it's still fine.
- I have a defibrillator implanted as a result of a heart attack at age 28 so young and strong as I am I can't lift heavy gas blowers (single stage) and the usual cardiac risks of snow shovelling.
The machine is built sturdy and I had no doubts about the main chassis but the knobs were softer plastic. If you don't turn them every time then it won't wear faster. It's very light and I have found myself lifting it if I have to go a step up or down or simply use it to plough up to break up large drifts. The chute rotation like the use of an electric cable you will get used to and it's best to have an practiced method to using both.
I have used it on snow higher than 1.5 ft (45cm) and it was brilliant. No trouble even with the harder end of driveway snow. Only ice chunks it can't handle.
Great machine when you buy it on sale and completely worth it for the reasons I bought it for. The headlight unit is excessive and not worth the extra money. Invest that money into a 100ft 12 gauge cord.
Usualy when a cie tell you about delay it's around a month or two, so 2 week is nothing, so whit all that they just got a lifetime customer why looking elsewhere when you got this kind of service.
Thank Snow Joe

18 sure, but anything over 8 inches deep and it struggled.
180-degree adjustable chute
adjustable, but not easily, and its awkward
5 steel blade rotor throws snow up to 20 feet
Maybe mine sucks, but 20 feet is a flat out lie. but it threw it plenty far that it wasnt an issue.
