About the Author
Cookie A. has designed patterns for Knitty, Vogue Knitting, Knit.1, Twist Collective, and the Blue Moon Fiber Arts Rockin' Sock Club. Her pattern line, Cookie A Knitwear Designs, debuted in 2007 and was an immediate hit. She teaches throughout North America and lives in Mountain View, California. Cookie does a great job of going over the creation and construction of a knitted sock in the first part of the book. Also, I enjoy the beauty and originality of her sock creations.
The only thing that prevents this book from a perfect score is all the erratas in the majority of the patterns. Luckily, the corrections are listed at [...] so knitters can can complete the projects without too much frustration.

This is a great book. the only problem I am having is that I promised myself I would finish 3 projects I am currently working on before I start anything new. I guess I have a second problem because then I have to pick a first project from this book.
I am really happy to now have this book but I researched it before I bought it. I wanted to see what projects were in the book before I bought it. There are a lot of books on here that you don't show anything from the inside, and when you do show the inside the wrong things are shown. When I want to see the inside of a book, what I want to see (especially in knitting books) are pictures of the projects not the table of contents.
