A wonderful sock yarn lovers book,

For all those out there who many have more sock yarn then they realized or for those who want to knit something other than socks, this is the book for you.Within hours of the book arriving, I had gone through my stash of sock yarns and picked out four skeins for four non-sock pattern. The projects are concise and the book has a good listing of commonly used terms. While not all the yarns are readily available, the photographs are a good guide as to whether solid or varigated yarns will work best. Just one quick note, not all the projects are for the standard fingering (4ply) weight sock yarn. Some are for slightly thicker sports and DK weights. So read the yarn recommendations and the gauge suggestions carefully. I look forward to seeing some of these projects on Ravelry, soon.

This is a wonderful book with so many ideas. Everything can be made from one ball (100 gm) of sock yarn and there are so many possibilities that you'll want to get started right away. Bon voyage with a great book!

Excellent Book! I love all the books in this series! Keep them coming! Perfect for handspun yarn as well! Sometimes I only have enough of a certain batch for a ball or 2 of yarn.
