I'm researching for an Advance CAD text book that my intro CAD class could take their second year. There are a lot of good books on the market today which teaches at the new user level. I received a copy of this book for evaluation. THIS IS NOT an advanced SolidWorks book for students in a classroom environment. It does not address many of the advanced topics which most students are interested in and would employ for their Capstone senior projects (motion, advanced and mechanical mates, Top down assembly, 3D sketches, equations, configurations, link values, surfaces, complex lofts, sheet metal and I can go on and on. Topics in the book are addressed in a non-explanatory manor with numerous inconsistencies. There are multiple places where the book is simply inaccurate. The short tutorials leave you wondering how he did what he did and what command or tool should I use?
There is nothing useful on the CSWP exam in the book; as he leads you to believe. Does he have a CSWP?
