Product Description

When nightmares begin plaguing Abby, friends Rodrigo and Braden close ranks around her. With fiery attraction already brewing between them, sharing close quarters opens the threesome to something new...

A product of foster care, survivor Abby Gaines shields her heart and doesn't believe in romance or love. Not even for Rodrigo Santiago and Braden Crenshaw, the two men -- friends -- starring in her erotic fantasies.

Tough-as-nails Rodrigo wants Abby with a passion. Just being near her makes him hard. To hide his desire, Rodrigo trades barbs and challenges everything Abby says. Rodrigo's secret? Recently, someone else has begun arousing heterosexual Rodrigo's libido too. Another man. Braden Crenshaw.

Bisexual, Braden has bounced between men and women in affairs that never last. He's tired of hurting people but has never believed menage relationships can work...until Abby and Rodrigo make him start aching for something new.

When Abby begins dreaming of her parents' brutal double murder, the visions unearth new elements that make Abby question everything she thought she knew about the crime. Once Braden and Rodrigo discover the nightmares haunting Abby, they vow to help her find answers to the mystery -- and love -- whether she wants their assistance or not.

I'm not great at reviews but I just had to give this one a 5 star rating & say how much I loved it! Intensely emotional, & smokin' hot sex scenes along with a good mystery to figure out (which surprised me at the end I must say!) I don't think you can go wrong with this one!

5.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 Blue Ribbons from Romance Junkies, Oct 26 2010
By Natalie S "ns65" - Published on Amazon.com
Abby Gaines guards her heart well. Her two closest male friends don't even know what she desires - she keeps her fantasies of them very well hidden. Or so she thinks. Her heart is up for grabs when Braden and Rodrigo decide she is the one for them.

Rodrigo Santiago has wanted Abby for years. And she doesn't know it because he hides his yearnings of her beneath a veneer that no one can break. His jokes and snide comments send Abby's temper skyrocketing and that is the way he likes it - after all, he doesn't want her to know that she is the woman for him.

Braden Crenshaw desires men and women. The woman for him, however, is Abby Gaines. He knows she is hiding her heart and keeping it safe for fear of being hurt. What she doesn't understand is that Braden wants to be her shield and her anchor. He also knows that in order to love Abby he would have to accept Rodrigo as well. And that might take some doing.

Abby suffers from nightmares and premonitions about the death of her parents. She isn't sleeping and she isn't eating. When her friends Rodrigo and Braden decide enough is enough, Abby finds herself overwhelmed by the thoughts and touches of these two gorgeous men.

Make sure you have a nice tall glass of ice water with you when reading SOMETHING NEW because this is one smoking hot read. The relationship between Rodrigo, Braden, and Abby is realistic and each person's expectation of their love affair just works. It is sometimes filled with strife, sometimes playful bickering, but definitely love is in the air and in their hearts. I love Cameron Dane ménages and fully recommend trying SOMETHING NEW!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sorry to break the mold, Mar 25 2011

First allow me to start by saying, I enjoyed the book. It had a plot, which made for an interesting story, and the sex was hot. Now, what I didn't like about it: I like to write, I do it in my spare time , and I am always looking for writers that I enjoy who can help me improve my craft. I say all that to say, if there is one thing that I have learned from reading and writing, it's that your characters have to feel and "sound" real. That was my biggest problem with this book. While I liked the characters, they didn't sound or feel real. I know when I write romance, I make my characters out to be this ideal man and ideal woman (which probably makes for a terrible cliche), but I couldn't help but feel like these characters were a little TOO fake. This mainly comes from the dialogue in the story. Real people don't talk the way these characters did, and it really got to me, because while I was reading the dialogue in my head it sounded cheesy, when I read it out loud, I was embarrassed at how terrible it sounded. Real people don't talk like these characters. Don't get me wrong, at certain points, the dialogue was perfect, especially when Rodrigo and Braden were joking around, but when things got hot and heavy, I heard the author coming through wayyyyy to much.
