Sometimes - the hit that always reminds me of summer 1999! Feb. 1 2003
By Busy Body - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
After the instant and huge success of her debut single Baby One More Time, Britney Spears returned in June 1999 with her second single called Sometimes. The second song to be taken from her debut album Baby One More Time, Sometimes peaked at No.3 in the UK charts and was a massive No.1 all over Europe. For me this is the song that always reminds me of summer 1999 - the years of my hormonal changes when I believed I was actually in love with the girl! The way Britney handles the song is just perfect and the beats and lyrics are so relaxing and sleepy.
Sometimes begins with a brilliant tingly bassline, before going rather low and quiet as Britney sings the verses. It goes up again as Britney sings the classic chorus; everyone knows those lyrics, "Sometimes I run/sometimes I hide/sometimes I'm scared of you....but all I really want is to hold you tight/treat you right/baby, all I need is time." Britney has always been a rather controversial artist - the Baby One More Time caused a lot. The video to Sometimes, however, created more speculation than controversy... Anyway, the video was a worthy successor to Baby One More Time and the song in itself was equal to that statement. If you're looking for the most relaxing Britney Spears song, go for Sometimes...or Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know. Regardless of which one you choose, make sure to buy Sometimes from Amazon now!

It's good to get a britney single, sometimes... Aug. 30 2002
By >:O - Published on Amazon.com

1.) Sometimes (Radio Edit*) - Great Song! It has the qualities of a ballad with a dance beat. Excellent!
2.) I'm So Curious (Unrealesed Mix*) - Had the potential to be a hit, I'm suprised that she didn't put this track on "Baby One More Time". It is a mid-tempo song. It's cute, and it's fun.
great song!
3.) Sometimes (Soul Solution Mid-Tempo Radio Mix*) - OMG! This is such a great remix. It starts off similar to the begining of the original with a techno-flare, then becomes this soulful jive remix it's great. One of Soul Soution's best remixes to date. They have also remixed songs for Jessica Simpson, and others.
O.K. This CD is a Must have for any Britney Fan! I got it here Brand New! for only ...Still packaged. This is ultra-rare,
get it be-4 it runs out! It's a great 3-track import. And Support Britney and buy the Boys single from Austin Powers.
And Also Support Christina Aguilera and when her new single "DIRRTY" (ft./ Redman) comes out pick it up! She is so talented. And her musical style is 100000000% better then it was before.

I'm a Britney Spears fan, but I'm not too fond of this single. "Sometimes" is a decent song, but the remix is too cutesy for my taste. I did like "I'm So Curious" but I don't think it's worth buying the cd just for that track. If you like "Sometimes" look for the Thunderpuss remix, it is a hundred times better.

I think Britneys new song is awesome! July 17 1999

Britney Spears is a great singer for her age. It'd be awesome to see her in concert. I'd love to be able to sing like her, this song is a lot more mature than "Baby" from her. I love it!
