Book Description

Son of Hamas is now available in softcover with an all-new chapter about events since the book’s release such as the revelation of Mosab’s Israeli intelligence handler’s true identity, and Homeland Security’s effort to deport the author.
Since he was a small boy, Mosab Hassan Yousef has had an inside view of the deadly terrorist group Hamas. The oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founding member of Hamas and its most popular leader, young Mosab assisted his father for years in his political activities while being groomed to assume his legacy, politics, status . . . and power. But everything changed when Mosab turned away from terror and violence, and embraced instead the teachings of another famous Middle East leader. In Son of Hamas, Mosab reveals new information about the world’s most dangerous terrorist organization and unveils the truth about his own role, his agonizing separation from family and homeland, the dangerous decision to make his newfound faith public, and his belief that the Christian mandate to “love your enemies” is the only way to peace in the Middle East.

About the Author

Yousef is the son of a founding leader of Hamas, internationally recognized as a terrorist organization responsible for countless suicide bombings and other deadly attacks against Israel. Yousef started a 6 year quest that jeopardized Hamas, endangered his family, and threatened his life. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good choice, Mar 19 2010
This book is written in a colloquial and involving language. It is full of captivating experiences, and easy to read and understand. I have read a lot of books on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but none like this. It really helped me understand the root causes of this conflict and see it from a perspective I had never seen. Very good book and very good choice for those who read it!

Excellent book from the son of one of the founders of the terrorists group Hamas. You will also learn about the Muslim Brotherhood which is behind the protests and overthrow of the Egyptian government today. They first tried this in 1948 only to be sidelined by Israel becoming a state.
