Buy this CD for your children and yourself. The music is catchy, varied, intelligent, and fun. It neither panders nor is it too perky (as is the tendency either way with the "Children's Music" genre).
Yes, kids love repetition so why not play something with a mix of different styles so that you, too, like it?
Also, this music is original, not just the same old song(s) ...ha ha.
Jennifer's voice is very engaging. I play several different types of music for my 11-month old Charlotte; including west and south african, classical, rock, jack johnson. Only Jennifer Gasoi's CD stops Charlotte in her tracks and gets her to bounce and jump and interact with the music on her own.
It also makes a good, original birthday present.
