Simply brilliant - fantasy written by a real pro writer with a deft touch - haunting, gritty, funny ... I read lots of fantasy - these days usually limited to award winning writers (this collection won the 1993 World Fantasy Award) - at least half of what I read fades in memory as time passes - Jack Cady's stories have not. (P.S. This book is not about Noah nor his family).
