This thing is a must if you travel. It has the 1.5amps that the PSVita needs to charge. I recently traveled to NY, USA and took my PSP car adapter with me thinking "it has USB, it will work" I was wrong, it did not work at all, not enough power. This PSVita car adapter has good solid construction and does not feel cheap.

CONS: you cannot use any other USB device with this unless you somehow force the plug into it. It has the slot configuration so the PSVita's USB cable plug is the only cable that will fit. If you look closely at your USB plug, it has a slot at the top and bottom, making it a unique fit.

I say to anyone with a PSVita, BUY THIS!

I had other 12V to USB adapters but they did not put out enough current to actually power and charge the Vita while in a vehicle. This one of course does and at the special price it is worth it (five stars). If it were at full price ($15) I would only give it 3 stars (and wait till I could get one at a discounted price).
