The disc player works really well. Absolutely no skipping. I use it while walking and have it in my pocket. Other brands of CD players would skip terribly What I do not like is that the instructions for usage are just typed in very small print on the cardboard inside the packaging. I would prefer a manual or small pamphlet with larger print

Bought this for my 7 year old son to listen to books on CD with read along book. He has found it easy to use and does not easily or accidentally turn on or off which will save $$ on batteries. My only criticism is that the batteries are a bit awkward to change. Other than that good sound quality for our purposes and very good value - it was a better deal on amazon than in the store when it was on sale.

The only thing I do not like about this product is that I had problem when I wanted to take out the batteries. I thought it was because I did not use Sony batteries. Then I bought Sonny batteries, but I had the same problem. I still had to struggle to take out the outermost battery, which was very troublesome. I think it is because the batteries slot is close to where the lid is attached to the CD player. I guess if it were put farther away, it would be easier to take out the outermost battery.Other than that, everything is good!
