This is a set of component cables for the PlayStation 3. This also works for the PS2 (I am using these cables on my PS2 now) even though the product description doesn't mention it.

not sure if it was in the product description page when I bought this but it actually works for both PS3 and PS2. its actually printed in the back of the box. I used this on my PS2 and it works perfectly.

Before buying this I used a generic PS3 component cable and it stopped working after a few months which I suspected, but sony component cable was not available back then. Now that I've bought this one, it is simply great. I use it to connect my PS3 to my projector on 720p resolution, since it doesn't have a HDMI port. This cable and a VGA to component cable make it possible to connect PS3 to a non HDMI, XGA projector for excellent 720p. Composite video (yellow video connection) is just no match.On top of this if your LCD/Plasma doesn't support 1080p then this cable can be used on it instead of a HDMI for the same results.
