I'm no audiophile; but I do know what I like - plus I have spent quite a few dollars on high end headphones in my time.

For the price - these are probably the best headphones by any measure.

If you look carefully; you'll see these headphones in behind-the-scenes videos in recording studios all the time. From what I can tell, they are what pros Actually use.

Don't waste money on Beats by Dre; these are the true hotness.

Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. The strength of these headphones is in the high-mids and lows, in terms of clarity and response. However, the highs sound slightly over-driven (in comparison to a pair of AKGs that are about twice as expensive) and the low-mids are somewhat less present than I would like. This leads to a less warm sound than some might be looking for. Nevertheless, I think most people (myself included) would be happy with these. Good value for money.

These headphones give you some of the cleanest sound going. I like the 10Hz-20kHz range. And I can practice my bass guitar without any popping noises.

I design high-end speaker for a living, and I know good sound.
These headphones are the best I've heard so far. They have very clear and deep bass (not overpowering though).
EXTREMELY low distortion too.
They are pretty light and comfortable and got better over time.
I have tried Grado, Bose, Kliptch, Beats and like these better than all of them.

The only thing I would change about the them is to dial down the mid-range a bit.

Make sure though that if you buy a pair to google "Fake Sony MDR-7506" -- there are a lot of fakes out there, and they are hard to spot, but the internet is rife with videos about how to tell if yours are fake or not. The seller that mine came from were definitely real!

Very good quality, both materials and sound.
That bulky cable is a 'turn off' lol but I was conscious I had to sacrifice that... still I give it out 5stars... everything arrived neat!!

These are not fake, so don't worry about receiving a counterfeit product. They sound absolutely incredible! I use them all the time for music and playing guitar and drums. NOTE: since they are bigger headphones (not in size but in power) they require quite a bit of energy. This means that if you use these headphones with you iPod or iPhone, you might not be experiencing the true power of these headphones (dont worry, theyre not broken)
