There are plenty of better books to have your children read. I would suggest introducing them to the works of Beverly Cleary, the Polk Street School kids and other stand-alone books. Serialized books like these are generally poor quality. While I don't mind SOME fairy idealization, these books are too poorly written to make it worthwhile. They're the equivalent of chips and candy-they fill your child up but don't have any good lasting effects. They only take away from good, positive things. Take my advice and find them better quality literature.

My daughter loves the Rainbow Magic Fairy series of books. They are geared to 3rd and early 4th grade reading level. She owns the basic seires, the jewel fairy series and the weather fairy series. She is starting to read the pet fairy series.

I had a wonderful time reading this book with my grandnieces. They thought that Kirsty and Rachel were just devine and eagerly read the book. This is part of a series of books with fairies and adventure in every instalment. We intend to get the whole series of books and the girls can't wait. I highly recommend this book to all parents who are looking for something magical and entertaining.
