5.0 out of 5 stars Diane is the best author! Sep 21 2000
By Susan
Format:Paperback
This is one book you shouldn't pass up. It keeps you guessing and it's so hard to know who did all the things at the exclusive sorority. Is it Maxie's friend, but non sister? Is it the sorority president? Or is it one of the girls that didn't make it in? I can bet you'll never guess who did it. In fact, all of Diane Hoh's horror books(the Nightmare Hall series) have incredible twists and even though I've read many books, out of the thirteen I've read of Nightmare Hall, I've guessed correct in zero. It's so hard to guess, and the endings are suspensful and a surprise.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hoh makes R.L. Stine look like an amatuer Jan 7 1999
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
Diane Hoh knows how to scare you! That is defintely for sure. She knows what makes your spine tingle. Her novels are suspenseful because they seem so realistic. This stuff could happen. R.L. Stine is just a popular tripe writer who pumps so many novels out a week that he repeats himself in every book. Death of the Prom Queen, The Homecoming Queen Murders... whatever. Sound anything alike?

Diane Hoh knows how to do it and right. R.L. Stine needs to move over. The Nightmare Hall series needs to come back on shelfs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Careful what you wish for Jun 5 1997
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
Terrifying. Unpredictable. When Maxie joins a sorority house, she feels thrilled to live with her new sisters. They are as close as sisters should be and life is wonderful---until weird and awful things start happening at the house. Something is definitely wrong and there are many suspects. But who can you trust if not your sisters
