After tasting several incredible soups at the book launch (including chocolate soup and avocado soup- yum!), my family bought Pam Riess's Book, and started off by making one soup that sounds especially good. The Pear Soup with Pecans, Feta and Balsamic Reduction was simple to make, looked beautiful and tasted unique yet wonderful. Recipes include many chicken soups, dessert soups, vegetable soups and much more. The book inlcudes tips on how and when to serve the soups which are useful and accurate. Overall this soup book is a great addition to not only kosher kitchens, but all kitchens.
