5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone knows it's Butters!!, July 13 2010
By BigBoi20000 - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: South Park a Little Box of Butters (DVD)
EPISODE LIST:
DISC 1: Butters' Very Own Episode, Professor Chaos, The Simpsons Already Did It, Raisins, You Got F'd In The A, AWESOM-O
DISC 2: Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset, Marjorine, Cartman Sucks, The Ungroundable, The Coon, Butters' Bottom Bitch, The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs (which has never been on DVD before).

As a huge South Park fan, I've been waiting on another "character compilation" DVD to come along. After the Cult of Cartman, I figured next would either be Butters or Randy Marsh (I was hoping for Randy!!). This set was only announced on South Park's website a few days ago, the press release is below.

4.0 out of 5 stars 10 Solid Episodes, AND SOME SWAG!, Sep 14 2010
By Big Bad Bruiser - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: South Park a Little Box of Butters (DVD)
While this is great to have, it is missing 4 fantastic episodes.

Wheres Freak Strike? Wheres Casa Bonita? Wheres Good Times With Weapons? Wheres Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers?

I understand this is the BEST of Butters, not a complete following of his exploits, but if its the best of Butters, why is The Coon on here? Or Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs. Or, to some extent, Butters' Bottom Bitch?

With those 3 episodes exempt from this set and replaced by one of the 4 better episodes listed near top, this set would of been a solid representation of Butters.

Easy to ignore, though.

13 episodes on this set, only 3 (my opinion) not that great, the other 10 are fantastic Butters adventures. Theres some swag to go along with this set, which I am sure will please all South Park fans. The boxing of the set and the way its presented is certainly a must-own.

and, all 13 episodes presented in good quality. widescreen, 5.1 surround sound.

Overall, I know I will enjoy this set, despite it falling off near the end of disc 2. The nicnacs and packaging are definitely the main reason to pick this up, obviously. The 4 episodes I mentioned will most likely go unnoticed, until your done viewing. Then there may be a bit of feeling of incomplete, with the last 3 episodes on this set causing multiple face-palms, yet a couple chuckles lightly throughout. Despite the larger laughter that could of been if they would of included either Freak Strike or Return of the Fellowship.....

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh hamburgers! A Butters box set! Widescreen and Uncensored!, Sep 30 2010
By Hudson "Brian Hudson" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: South Park a Little Box of Butters (DVD)
When it comes to characters in the show "South Park", Butters is hands down one of the best and funniest. This 2-disc collection highlights many of Butters' funniest and most adventurous moments.

The episodes are: BUTTERS' VERY OWN EPISODE, PROFESSOR CHAOS, THE SIMPSONS ALREADY DID IT, RAISINS, YOU GOT F'D IN THE A, AWESOM-0, STUPID SPOILED WHORE VIDEO PLAYSET, MARJORINE, CARTMAN SUCKS, THE UNGROUNDABLE, THE COON, BUTTERS' BOTTOM BITCH, and THE TALE OF SCROTIE McBOOGERBALLS (previously unavailable on DVD).

All of the episodes have been uncensored and remastered in widescreen, which makes the set worth buying even if you have a lot of these episodes already. In addition, the box set comes with fun extras like: A Butters pimp chain, a canceled check from Paris Hilton, an Inspector Butters badge, a "W.W.B.D." bracelet, and a lost chapter from the book written by Butters, "The Poop That Took a Pee".

A must have DVD collection for South Park fans, and a great way for the casual viewer to get to know one of the show's best characters. My only complaint - I wish the episode "Freak Strike" was included. But, I guess you can't pick every episode with Butters in it. Overall, a great purchase. 5 stars.
