5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Resource, April 5 2012
By A. Smith - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Spa: Bathing Blends for Your Home (Paperback)
I have experience with aromatherapy and hydrotherapy, but when I need some inspiration for blends or feel like really treating myself, I turn to this book. The pictures are gorgeous. The recipes range from super easy/cheap to highly exotic (pure rose otto essential oil is a little pricey for me, although I'm sure it's absolutely lovely in a bath). There are even a few pages on "spa" treatments for baby. This is really about pampering yourself, (or you and your partner). As a massage therapist, self care is extremely important to avoid burn out and injury. Just flipping through this book is a kind of visual meditation. Also a great directory of spas in the back in case I ever get enough money to fly to Bali or Australia.
I found my copy at a Goodwill store and consider it one of my most amazing thrift store treasures.
