Remember MOO? Space Empires V is a very similar game with a similar feel. If you enjoy Civ-type games in space, then this is an OK game with somewhat limited play. The tactical battles are fun, but get really complicated when there are more than 5 ships in each fleet, not to mention planetary defences. The resource management is quite simple at the lower levels, but becomes realistically limiting with more advanced opponents. Good buy at about $12.
