The disc was in perfect working condition ... no scratches, etc. Although it's an old CD, my students always enjoy it during our Physical Education classes! Thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars VERY UNDERRATED SOUNDTRACK! June 22 2004
Format:Audio CD
When I first heard it, I listened to every track. I didn't skip once. Favorites for me is D'Angelo's song "Smile Again", Seal's version of "Fly Like An Eagle", LL Cool J, Method Man, Busta Rhymes & Coolio's "Hit Em High" and R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly." They were the highlights but all of the soundtrack is good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love the movie and soundtrack April 8 2003

I love all the songs on here and my favorites are 11 and 14. 14 is like the song for everyone to get into and it get when you are cleaning the house to listen to. It an cd that you need it your collection today so go and buy the cd then after that go buy the movie.
Maybe you will buy the movie first and then get the soundtrack either way you should buy both because it's a great cd to listen to and you will want to play it over again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfectly compliments the movie Feb. 12 2003
Format:Audio CD
When I first heard that there was a new movie called Space Jam starring Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny, I was like, "Huh?" I wasn't really interested in seeing it (it turns out the movie IS pretty good), but I heard from my friends that the soundtrack is pretty decent. I listened to it, and they were right.
The soundtrack seems to be PG-rated (if THAT), and it's a good thing because the movie is like that too. But another thing is that it seems to be targeted toward the high school audience (I was 15 when this came out), so if you're over 18, don't expect to be bumping this in your car or anything. This isn't to say the soundtrack is bad. There are great songs like R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly", Monica's "For You I Will", and D'Angelo's "I Found My Smile Again". All-4-One also shows up to sing "I Turn To You", which most people probably didn't know was recorded before Christina Aguilera's 2000 #3 hit. I like Christina's rendition better, but this version is still good.
Since Space Jam is about basketball, it wouldn't be right not to have some energetic tracks on here. B-Real, Busta Rhymes, Coolio, LL Cool J and Method Man bring us The Monstars' Anthem (the Monstars were the opposing team in the movie), otherwise known as "Hit 'Em High". And the title track, performed by Quad City DJs, is decent, but all their songs sound the same to me.
The last song is the humorous "Buggin'" as performed by Bugs Bunny (and was written by Jay-Z, I must add). Bugs and the other characters are voiced by Billy West (best known as the voice of the Honey Nut Cheerios bee), but at the end of the song it sounds like he's getting lazy with the voice (of Bugs, anyway). And I'm not exactly sure why Robin S. (of "Show Me Love" fame) is on here, but her "Givin' U All That I've Got" sounds like her other songs too. But regardless, this soundtrack was a perfect match for the movie. I don't really listen to it that much now, but it's still great.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this movie and the soundtrack is so cool Nov. 26 2001
Format:Audio CD
I Like how Michael Jordan came together with Bugs and all the looney game for a comedy movie like this. Its a great movie. I love all the songs on the soundtrack. All these songs get me pumped up and ready to jam. This movie is great for little kids let me tell you my niece and nephew love this movie and I do to. The songs are so perfect for the movie. Its just great how Michael would do a movie like that as big of a star as he is and its like its a based on a true story one cause its like talking about his life and how he quit basketball then went back so its a great movie and what else can i say about the sound track other then its a great one and has all big stars singing on it. The songs just fit so well with the movie. They make you want to get up and dance. At the beginning of the movie they have all the songs on there and just makes you want to get up and buggy on down.
