Great sitcom for Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg's fans. If you like Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, you'll probably enjoy this.

I discovered my love for Simon Pegg through Shaun of the Dead, and then Hot Fuzz, and as soon as I found out about Spaced I ordered it off a UK site, and watched it on a poor quality DVD player to get around the fact that it was coded for the UK. . . . . So needless to say, I'm please it's being released in Canada. The show is two seasons of the dynamic charisma of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright. It you're a fan of the pop-culture references of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, you'll get even more of that here. Fantastic nods to Geek culture icons like Star Wars, the X-Files and more, and just an overall heaping of comedic gold. It's clever, relevant and just heart-warming, in that it really represents the lives of most twenty-somethings, only funnier. I can't rave enough. . . . . . IT WILL MAKE YOU TALLER AND BETTER LOOKING.

This is a laugh out loud series. Over the past few years I have become a fan of English humour. Last year I watched the "The Royle Family" and thought it was terrific ... and now I have stumbled upon "Spaced". While previous reviewers rave about Simon Pegg ... it's Jessica Stevenson (also in the Royle Family) that pushes me over the edge. Yes ... the writing is also brilliant. It's dry and full of references to nineties culture. A wonderful watch....
