The story thus far in one word EPIC(O_O), the book's quallity to be desired, some slight shelf ware but nothing sireous, now this is to much of a manufacture's defect, I just want to know WTF is up with the glue that is used to complete the book's binding, im thinking that it may have gotten tiny bit of moister in the bineding and it froze while in transit and when it thawed it weaked the glue's hold, other than that it still works. The reason for the three stars is, the glue could have been better but it also gives it character, oh well try to fix it i guess.

While critics & casual fans may spew all sorts of opinions about the Spawn series, one thing most people will agree on is it's always been a comic that's beautifully illustrated & arguably one of the best illustrated comics out there hands down. But aside from it's visual perspective Spawn's constant unfolding saga has been one of the most ambitious & unnerving as well. From the covert op's melodrama & post 80's antihero gloom to the decrepit & intricate panels, the series has always pretty much followed it's own individual route without room for conforming. All of these volumes are great & Spawn is easily one of the best independent comics out there.
