4.0 out of 5 stars A pleasant introduction to the new Placebo. May 22 2001
By Matt Marx - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Along with "Taste In Men" and "Slave To The Wage", Placebo releases a third single from their 2001 album, Black Market Music. The delightfully catchy ditty gives the listener a glimpse of the more upbeat side of Black Market Music, and throws in remixes of "Slave To The Wage", another faster-paced, upbeat song on the album.
This single is a definitely recommended buy for fans who haven't yet heard the album, and prefer Placebo's faster, glammier tunes that are noticably upbeat (at least by Placebo standards).
4.0 out of 5 stars Hurray for Remix May 13 2001
By "jubas" - Published on Amazon.com
Placebo has always been great at mixing up their music. they play hard, soft but never have i ever heard a dance song by them. well it has arrived. passive agressive has been made over from a sweet song to a dance song. this transformation is truly amazing and a must here for all placebo fans. as for slave to the wage remix...ehhh frankly i've heard better. but all around this single is great and a must have for any placebo fan.
5.0 out of 5 stars For Silverchair fans and Placebo fans Feb. 6 2001
By Katie - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
This is a definite must for any Silverchair or Placebo fan. With a remix of Slave To The Wage by Daniel Johns this song tranforms from poppy and light to dark and gothic. Titled "I Can't Believe It's A Remix" it fits right in with his CD I Can't Believe Its Not Rock. A definite addition to any CD collection!!
