Lee Killough - a must-read SF author, Dec 6 2011

Lee Killough's earlier works tend to be her most tightly-plotted ones, and this one is one of her best. Her writing style is very lucid; in spite of the differences between our current world and the future world in "Spider Play", the reader can easily visualize the setting, which doesn't seem to be dated at all. But read "Spider Play" for the story; like all of Killough's novels, the twists and turns in the plot will surprise you. I list Killough as one of my "must-read" authors among all SF writers.
