Pros: Does hang around the ear well (doesn't come out easily)
-The clip on it isn't some flimsy plastic that falls off, I've owned this for about two months and that's the longest an earphone clip has ever lasted.
-pause and volume rocker works well

Cons:
-Volume rocker adjusts earphone volume not phone/device volume
-If sleeping on one of them (ear on pillow) you will not be able to hear everything perfectly (the same is true if they're pushed in too hard but usually this doesnt happen)

Overall: Would buy another pair if need be.

Edit: ~ 3 months later
Earphones now are sensitive to movement near the volume rocker/remote. Swaying the cable near the remote cuts out the sound. *I did use them harshly and that was the one area I noticed was getting the most stress*
Not as strong as I initially thought.

Hello Folks,

I had first heard about these headphones from an on-line article boasting about how great they were and that they had such a low cost. This surprised me because I generally subscribe to the "you get what you pay for" philosophy. Certainly, I've encountered a few exceptions to this rule, but generally it rings true. Still, at like $25 w/ shipping I figured I really had nothing to loose. Might as well try them out and see how they perform.

Verdict: Good headphones with acceptable performance - bright highs, decent mids, and modest bass. I wouldn't go so far as to call them amazing. From an audiophile's perspective, you could gripe about the performance, but for most normal people these will sound pretty decent.

Use: I have used these in two applications:

1. Performing Live Music - I sing and play acoustic guitar and have used these paired with a wireless pack hooked up to an Aviom in ear monitor system. They were good. Maybe not as good as the Shures I've used in the past, but again, considering the price they were impressive. I will continue to use them.

2. Running - My normal distance is a 10 k (which I typically run 3 times a week). Previously I had used a couple of the more expensive Sony sports ear phones which I thought were decent. These were way better. They stayed in place and sounded nice. One thing I did notice was that after getting a little sweaty with some gross ear build up, the earphones didn't quite fit in as well, and some of the sound quality was lost as they slipped out a bit. Part of this could be due to the fact that I was wearing a toque that pulled my ears into my head and messed with the way the headphones fit. Still they were good and I'll continue to use them.

I purchased these headphones because I liked the design and the reviews were decent. I recieved these on time, but 1 and a half weeks of use has left the right earbud dead. When both of the ear buds were working they sounded great with a decent sound stage and decent range from lows to highs. Other than the earbud dying these are decent headphones, though my $10 pair sounds a bit worse, they've lasted longer than these.

Yes, the cord is a little delicate feeling. But I'm so relieved to have a pair of in-ear heaphones that fit into my ears without causing pain, that I'm willing to take a bit of extra care with my new treasure. Add in the fact that the sound is really good (for one, NO complaints about a set of new headphones), and I'll say go for it! These come with so many different sized silicone covers, that even if you have different ear sizes (like me), you can use one size on one ear, and a different size on the other. Custom sizing!
Should these guys ever break despite careful handling, I WILL replace them with an identical set as they've been such a relief for my tortured ear cartilage.

Great in-ear for the money. I would buy again. If I bought them again I would skip the armband and get the clear 'pro' model with the detachable cords. I wanted red ones so I got these. Still happy.

Comfortable, great noise isolation and really good sound for the money. Not so hot at first but after a day or so of break-in (housework with my favorite Faith No More album at moderate volume) they sound good. They stay put, too. I run the cord down my back and into the pocket where they plug into my phone. They don't fall out or become dislodged very easily, but if they move they can lose their seal and you will notice diminished bass response. I tried most of the little tip options before settling on the triple type for the best sound and isolation. Some Comply tips would be a benefit to these earphones.

I will compare to the Japan-only Audio Technica ATH-IM50 when they arrive and also the B&O Play earphones which I should be auditioning shortly.

Not just Faith No More though, these have a fairly decent vocal focus and good, deep bass extension. I listened to some Cat Power and the latest Sia album and didn't feel the urge to shut it off. I don't have a fair comparison right now but will update after I hear the other sets I'm waiting for. My current other earphones are B&O A8 and some really awful Ryobi that I bought as earplugs for my tractor at Home Depot for $20, that happen to also be a headphone as an added bonus. And of course the little white things that came with my S3.
