DID DISNEY MAKE THIS ???,

I know that Disney did not make this movie, but it surehas that look. And Disney making a jackie chan movie would be a bad idea. Wait a minute, they did, "Around The World In 80 Days". I have to admit i liked it because J.C. was in it and it was a fun movie, BUT it is not what a J.C. movie is, just like this one. Now, i am a huge J.C. fan and have been before i even seen one of his movies. How you may ask? Well, i am a martial artist (now disabled for Many years) and have always read M.A. magazines. Some of those mags had stories on Jackie and his movies. And from those stories i thought this guy was incredible. Then a new video store opened up and they had "Jackie Chan's Police Force"(aka. Police Story). I rented it 3 times then bought it from them. The Spy Next Door is a fun family movie with action, but not what i concider a true J.C. movie. If you want a true Jackie Chan movie, Watch any of these. Police Force 1 & 2 (aka Police Story) Operation Condor 1 & 2 Supercop Project A 1 & 2 Too name a few.

Gillian (Amber Valletta) has next a new potential love of her life; it is her next-door neighbor, the sedate pen salesman Bob Ho (Jackie Chan). However, their relationship is doomed as Gillian's children hold a low opinion of Bob. Gillian wants her kids to be safe and happy. What about Bob? He may not be as sedate as Gillian supposes but he intends to for her kids to like him. His opportunity comes when he gets to babysit. However, it looks like his old job may complicate things.With few exceptions, I am not a Jackie Chan fan. This movie is definitely one of the exceptions. It has over the top acting and stunts. The story is formula and predictable but this people can act and the dialog is hokey to match. You will want to kibitz. I have only seen the Blu-ray version. Be sure to look at the few DVD extras.

I ordered "the spy next door" and another movie "Grown ups" but I haven't received either yet. The mail strike had started when I was to receive but the strike has been over for a while now and still no movies. I am very disappointed as this is the first time this has happened to me and I order lots of movies.
