Very much a beginner book. Fairly accurate, but not nearly in depth enough for me. Good for a horse enthusiast who doesn't have very much knowledge about horses or horsekeeping, but any interested horseman or woman will need a lot more information than this can provide.This book is used in the Equine Studies program at Kemptville College/Guelph University.

This is a good beginners guide or a good refresher course. Don't look for a lot past the basics, though.
