3.0 out of 5 stars Ok, July 14 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Stacey's Mistake (Paperback)
I wasn't crazy about this book. I think Martin was stretching it for "issues" the baby-sitters would have with the city, especially when she had Dawn terrified of everything. Please. Dawn supposedly lived near Disneyland in Anaheim or thereabouts; she'd be almost as comfortable in New York as she would in LA. Stacey's attitude bugged me in this book, which is too bad because she's usually my favorite. Still. Some parts are very, very funny.

3.0 out of 5 stars An Okay Book, Mar 21 2001
This review is from: Stacey's Mistake (Paperback)
I think that this book, compared to a lot of other BSC books is pretty good. I just can't believe anyone would would want to spend their vacation watching kids... oh well. They're baby-sitters after all. I think the girls fight over dumb things, like when Coby was dancing with Kristy, and Claudia cut in. I mean, come on, grow up. Also, Dawn's fears were immensely exsagerated. It's silly for Dawn to be afraid of NY, since she's from LA and there are psychos there too. Don't be confused, this is actually a pretty good book. Enjoy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome book!, May 1 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Stacey's Mistake (Paperback)
First when I read this I though that I hate this. But when I read this second time I loved this book. That's why you have to read it twice too!

Only thing I don't like in this book is the fight baby-sitters are having... and Stacey! I hate Stacey in this book. She is all the time like "This is so embarrasing... This is so embarrasing... I wish I could be dead... Please, stop!" Why doesn't she understand that her friends are excited by the city like New York. And I though that it was funny when Mary Anne was almost arrested. Why wouldn't Stacey laught about it too?

I'll rate this with 4 stars!
