The safe is well build. The knob in the front panel is made of plastic and seems cheap and weak. The panel gives you the option of disable the sound every time you press a key which is very useful if you want to remain quiet while you retrieve your gun at night for example. A built-in light would it be nice, but I add a $5 touch activate light from Lowe's and that allows me to see inside the safe if I have all the lights out, again very useful while retrieving a gun in the middle of the night. My house is built with the studs a little further apart so I was only able to attach the safe to one stud, I used high grade wood screws for that, the screws that came with the safe are cheap and not very good quality, but I you're able to find stud with the right distance between them and use the 4 screws included you won't have any problems securing the safe.
The safe looks very professional, I have no problems with installation but you must take your time and make sure you have the safe mounted straight otherwise the door my close on you. I have to do small adjustments to the doors with an Allen key just to make sure the door stays open and perfectly stil, that was an easy adjustment.
I would recommend this product for storing small object, jewelry, or like in my case my gun, tactical light, and ammunition.
