I homeschool and used this to help prepare my 3rd grader for the upcoming STAR test. This book has three full length tests for math, the first two come with explanations and tips. My daughter took the first one and it showed me the standards we haven't taught and the standards we need to reteach. It was easy to use, friendly and good practice for standardized testing. I think it's helpful for students to see a variety of directions and formats beyond the main textbook.
