An excellent purchase if you have "younglings" (geek quote) that are interested in Star Wars. Mine are 7 and 5, and they didn't care much for me reading the text, but wanted to know more about the pictures they were seeing coming off of the page that they were constantly trying to "touch" in mid-air. A lot of pages for the price, but a star taken off for the fact that there is ONE PAIR OF GLASSES! Honestly, do they think a child is going to sit there all by themselves?!? REALLY?!?
The pictures in 3D range from not-really-being-able-to-see-anything-3D, to "Wow, that is really amazing", and that's my take on it. So you can only imagine how cool everything was to my kids. More stars would be taken off for the glasses fiasco if it weren't for the fact they actually seemed to make an effort making this book. It's not a kid's 12 pager, it's a gather-around-for-30 minutes with tons to look at.
