First off, when I bought this combo it wouldn't run on my Windows 7 64-bit computer, it would install, but when the game initialized it hung, then blew up.
So, following these signs my dad, a bit of a tech wizard, said that it sounded like a graphics card problem. I downloaded a new Graphics driver (From AMD.com mind, not the windows driver panel), reinstalled it and now it works fine, starfighter was the only one that worked before we upgraded my graphics driver.
I haven't played Outcast yet, but the other games are a BLAST! I haven't played a lot of similar games but these are amazing. the graphics and physics are better then you might think too.
Note: the saber choice thing is pretty far into the game, but it's still a great choice because it's after that that you get into the really great combat stuff.
Also, the enemies are great throughout, fun to beat, worth beating, rewarding to pwn, devastating to lose to.
Highly satisfied, this is a great deal.

Jedi Academy better than all 3 prequels!, Mar 12 2012

I only wish the Star Wars prequels that Lucas foisted on fans had been as exciting as Jedi Academy. From the first official mission, you are on a moving train where the slightest misstep will send you hurtling to your death. You have to find your way around the train cars to the front.
There are a lot of frustrating dead ends and backtracking in this game. A "Walk Through" guide is essential to completing this, there are a lot of small doors and areas you have to go to if you want to activate the next cutscene. Other than that, loads of fun to actually play in the Star Wars Universe.
The best part is not being saddled with dull non-movie characters like Old Republic has. In this game, you get to meet the various Star Wars characters, and use all the rebel equipment that you've seen in the movies.
And you get to shoot force lightning, how cool is that?
Haven't gotten to the other games yet, try Jedi Academy first. Worth the entire package!
