Excellent Conclusion Jan. 13 2012
By Bossk - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This graphic novel was a great ending to the series. Just enough loose ends were tied up that the reader will be satisfied, yet there is enough left unsaid that a sequel will be easy to make.

The artwork is great and the action in the story moves at a perfect speed. The addition of force users that aren't Jedi or Sith is a nice addition to the mix. I personally enjoyed the emotions displayed in the characters making them more life like and easier to relate to. There are a few characters that constantly tread the border of the dark and light sides always making them unpredictable. If you are a Star Wars fan, I suggest getting this whole series, if you are new to Star Wars and just looking for some entertaining Sci-Fi/graphic novels, I would still suggest getting this series. Thumbs up to the author and illustrators!

A decent end to the Legacy storyline Feb. 3 2012
By Kid Kyoto - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
For over 5 years, over 50 issues, over 1000 pages of story, John Ostrander and Jan Duursema have told the story of Cade Skywalker, drug-addicted bounty hunter and borderline fallen Jedi as he struggled with the Sith Empire and his own inner demons. This book finishes the story! The Alliance, the Empire and Jedi have united against the Sith for a final battle. Heroes and villains fall and the galaxy is changed forever (or at least until the next galaxy-changing storyline).

If you liked the earlier books, you'll like this one. I actually liked it more than the last few which felt like they were treading water and repeating the same threads again and again.

It does feel a bit rushed, and yeah, Ostrander leaves room for a sequel, but it's a pretty satisfying end to a good series.

Duursema's art is as good as ever, he does everyone from aliens and starships to facial expressions and sword fights with equal skill.

There were rumors that Lucasfilm was unhappy with this future and ordered the story ended, if so I'm glad that they were able to give it a satisfying wrap up.

ending the Legacy Jan. 1 2013
By Enjolras - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
For years, I'd avoided reading the Legacy comics. There was so much about them that seemed off from Star Wars as we know it, such as the return of the Sith and Skywalker's heir as a druggie. However, there's enough in Legacy to make it feel like Star Wars.

This arc concludes it. It wraps up most, but not all of the lose ends. However, wrapping them up felt a bit rushed. Darth Krayt, who'd been MIA for a while, comes back and is defeated within 6 issues. Moreover, there really isn't anything particularly interesting or surprising or novel about how everything is wrapped up. It's just a battle through brute force.

Overall, it does the job, but it's not quite going out on a bang.

I don't know if this is the conclusion, but WOW! What an ending! This book was a great work that concluded the "Legacy" series. Even if you did not read the beginning, you could read this on it's own. 5 stars!

A fantastic conclusion to the Star Wars Legacy series. If you love Star Wars, whether it be the movies only, or the entire expanded universe, or even just the original trilogy, I would highly recommend the entire series, and this final volume ends it masterfully.
