I'm very pleased with this purchase. It arrived in short order from the UK via Amazon.ca, and was delivered in perfect condition. I've not had any problems with the digital audio player that some reviewers complained about. Hopefully, it will continue to function for a long time.
The book itself is a very entertaining look at how sound designer Ben Burtt created the thousand of sound effects used in the various Star Wars movies. Burtt's observations and recollections are often hilarious, and offer a nice behind-the-scenes look at this fascinating aspect of moviemaking. The writing is clear and concise.
My only complaint is the quality of the book binding. The book creaks noticeably whenever I open it up (sounds like the binding is starting to crack/split). This is a minor quibble, but it might be worth noting anyway if you plan on keeping the book for a while.
