Clicker training is a great form of training for dogs as it is a consistent reward. You don't have to worry about not being clear in your verbal rewards or continuously feeding you dog treats. It's a small, easy to use and cheap training tool. However, it isn't for everyone. Although my dog responded well to the clicker, I found it hard to constantly carry around; especially when on walks. I found myself resorting back to verbal cues rather than using my clicker.

If you have the time and dedication, this is a great tool for dog training. I'd recommend watching videos or reading about clicker training prior to using it.

This product clicks a little louder than some other clickers I've used, but it still works okay. The benefit is that it's great for outdoors where it's noisier. : )

I decided to purchase a clicker trainer for my dog for positive reinforcement training. Usually use "Yes" as his reward cue but it's not too helpful considering everyone says it differently and he doesn't understand the different pitch or tones used.

The clicker trainer is consistent and much easier to respond with when he does the "right" behaviour or action.

I was expecting something a little flimsy for this price but no, the button and casing feels solid and the sound is sharp and loud. Comes with basic instructions which I appreciated. My 3 cats already learned in just a week to beg for treats just like a dog! and I even started the give paw command. Highly recommend it.

Great training tool. Comes with tips and easy-to-use instructions. Use not more than 15 minutes, 3 times a day for best results. As a personal note, the timing of the click is the most important aspect. Click as soon as the dog performs the task you want. Then give them a treat!

Also, you can get these in store for around $5-6. I thought I was saving money by ordering through Amazon but it's the same price.

This clicker is much better than the cheaper ones you find in Petsmart. They have a much more consistent sound and seem to be built quite well.

It's a clicker. It clicks.
If you know how to pair the sound of the click with good behavior/treats it works well.
Taught my pup quite a few tricks using this.
I do not think it's too loud as some people have pointed out, especially if training in an off-leash area.
