I bought this for my guitar effects rack. It was not 19" wide as claimed, and the screw holes fell short by about 1/8" or so. I have to return it now. After my disappointment I poked around online to see if there was a difference between the rack dimension for Server and A/V equipment, I could not find anything. Then I came across a user feedback comment on Newegg.com that was for a different model Startech shelf. The user mentioned Startech drawers only work with Startech racks. Jeez I would like to think that something as important as that would have been mentioned in the amazon product description.
