There's some unfortunate inacurracies, July 29 2010
This review is from: Starcraft Ii Limited Edition Strategy Guide (Hardcover)
Lots of info, great book overall, very nice cover.
Multiplayer tactical recon stand is very nice but has some minor inacurracies suck as missing "Player start area" labels and "Destructible debris" labels.
I did not looked at the book in great details yet but I saw some sad inacurracies such as the "Infested Terran" abilities for the Overseer, which has been given back to the Infestor, and the Infestor "Frensy" ability which no longer exist in the game.
I still recommend this book if you don't mind those inacurracies.

Very cheap and usefull!, Aug 8 2010
I bought this book because i wanted to have information to do the campaign the best i could. It gives you good tips for all the missions, give you valuable information about all the units. I wouldnt pay 50$ for it but at 18$, its a very good deal, specially when its 25-30$ in store.

Zerg Rush and More, April 9 2011
This strategy (feels more like tome to me) is geared toward the new or casual players who want to know the ins and outs of the game. The single player portion is like most Brady Games Signature Guides, where maps and details are packed into colourful pages.
The guide shines in the multiplayer proportion; strategies and tips are explained thoroughly so that the reader can build a foundation to playing the game. For those who found the game possessing a high learning curve, it will help you pinpoint the problems by pointing out what most players have trouble with or what they forget.
However, like most multiplayer games though, it will slowly become outdated due to the metagame and frequent updates.
Also there are some minor errors due to the guide coming out on the same day as launch (Infested Marines are incorrectly listed as an Overseer ability, which was probably in the Beta testing of the game).
If you are a pro-player you will have no need for this book unless you're in it for collecting or simply enjoy the pretty pictures with stats. I recommend the Blizzard art books for fans of their paintings/illustrations.
In short:
Pros: Unmatched detailed walkthrough of single-player. A great learning tool for building a good foundation of the game for the new or troubled player.
Cons: Unit stats will become outdated from updates and coming expansions. Minor errors due to launch timing.
In summary: Go to a local bookstore and flip through it once; if you're interested, you won't be disappointed. If you're not, you're barking up the wrong star.
